Focus on the Family Grants Electronic Rights for Popular Adventures in Odyssey Brand and Content; Entertainment Software Publisher Digital Praise to Develop Interactive Games Based on Popular Adventures in Odyssey Radio Show

Colorado Springs, CO; Fremont, CA June 27, 2004 -- In a move sure to thrill millions of avid radio listeners, Focus on the Family and Digital Praise Inc. formally announced today that the companies have joined forces to offer interactive game versions of the popular Adventures in Odyssey radio drama series. Focus on the Family has granted Digital Praise the rights to publish interactive game versions of Adventures in Odyssey on all platforms, including PC (Windows and Mac), video game consoles (Sony PlayStation 2, Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo Game Boy Advance and GameCube) and mobile devices (phones and PDAs). Digital Praise, a Silicon Valley developer of Christian games, is currently producing the first of these titles, targeted for release this fall.

Designed for families with children ages 8 and up, Adventures in Odyssey is one of the most popular family radio programs in the world and boasts in excess of 1.2 million listeners each day. Since 1987, Adventures in Odyssey has aired over 550 episodes and can be heard on over 2,000 daily broadcasts worldwide. The Adventures in Odyssey characters, places and themes have starred in 16 videos and 20 novels. The release of the Digital Praise game titles will provide another environment in which fans can enjoy their favorite fictional midwestern town of Odyssey.

The games will feature characters and situations from the beloved radio and animated film series and will make it possible to play along and help solve the mysteries.
