"Dream Job for a Day" Sweepstakes Brought to You By MaxBikini Magazine Xbox Video Game Console & JENSEN


Newport Beach, CA—Have you ever wondered how some guys get their jobs? The photographers for swimsuit magazines, for instance. They travel to tropical locales and spend their days cavorting in the sun with some of the world's most beautiful women. Tough life, right? Well, MaxBikini Magazine, Xbox video game console, and Jensen are now bringing one lucky guy the unique opportunity to get in on some of that action.

MaxBikini (MXB) is a new men's lifestyle magazine, kicking off its premiere issue during Spring Break, 2003. Starting this month, though, MXB is launching its sizzling Web site, www.MaxBikini.com, and the exclusive MaxBikini membership area with access to behind-the-scenes photos from numerous MXB test photo shoots in Southern California.

When readers sign up for a subscription to the MXB membership area, they will be entered to win the "Dream Job for a Day," an Xbox video game console, Jensen MP3 player, and other great prizes. On October 19th, one red-blooded American male will get the chance to live out a fantasy. He'll board a 65-foot Viking yacht, accompanied by a dozen of the hottest MaxBikini models. Upon arrival on Catalina Island, he'll spend the day in the Southern California sunshine, finding out just what it takes to be a photography assistant.

This innovative promotion will launch solely with a two-phase email campaign on October 7th and October 14th, which will reach 2 million men in the highly-coveted 18 to 34 year-old demographic.

"Building any major brand from the ground up requires forming key alliances and communicating to your audience in the atmosphere in which that audience spends time. In this case, Xbox and Jensen make ideal partners because of the similarities of our audiences," said Scott Moore, founder and CEO of MaxBikini Magazine.

While Moore realizes that launching a Web site prior to a magazine is an unorthodox move, he believes his business model will work. "I decided to launch MXB online before the magazine because in addition to playing video games as a major entertainment activity, our audience is on the Web. I want to learn from our audience and create the best men's magazine on the planet," Moore explained. By garnering feedback from potential readers before the first issue even hits magazine stands, Moore is well-poised to create a product that men truly can't wait to purchase.
