iGames and the Just Play Games Festival Announce Special Tournaments Win Part of $100,000 in Prizes

Mountain View, CA; Los Angeles, CA June 14, 2004 -- iGames and the 2004 Just Play Games Tour are pleased to announce a tour of over 72 computer game tournaments featuring the games Call of Duty, Battlefield Vietnam, Halo Xbox, and Unreal Tournament 2004 being hosted at the Just Play Games 2004 Festival in Mills Malls all over the United States this summer and fall.

The Battlefield Vietnam, Halo (Xbox), and Call of Duty events in the Just Play Games Festival come under the umbrella of iGames tours in support of those game titles. iGames tours typically take place within game centers, but the Just Play Games events within the tours will be in a different venue—Mills Malls. "It is a natural fit to bring these two tours, Just Play Games and iGames, together as it gives players who may not know about game centers an opportunity to learn about them while enjoying the competition and the entertainment in the Mills properties," says Carol Bennett, iGames' Director of Event Operations.

iGames is also promoting Unreal Tournament 2004 within game centers.

iGames will be providing player rankings for the Call of Duty and Halo events so players can either see who they've beaten to get to the top, or see who they have to beat to climb up.
